INCOGNITO 2019 in aid of the Jack & Jill Children's Foundation
No you don’t need to go to Specsavers! For the third year in a row Irish artist Gerard Byrne is proud to donate a number of artworks to this award winning fundraising initiative. Gerard has created the pieces especially for this event.
INCOGNITO is Ireland’s largest public art initiative and is growing this year with two exhibitions taking place. One in the Solomon Gallery, Dublin and the other in the Lavit Gallery, Cork.
1,800 postcard-size original works of art will be exhibited at the Solomon Gallery and 800 or so exhibited at the Lavit Gallery, all for sale for just €50 each (on a first come first served basis). The artists’ names, some very well-known and very collectable, will remain incognito until the card is purchased and the artist’s signature is revealed on the back. Maximum number of art pieces per person is 3.
Solomon Gallery, Dublin 3rd - 7th April
The Lavit Gallery, Cork 16th - 18th May

THE SERIOUS NEWS: The event will raise a minimum of €130,000 for the Jack & Jill Foundation.
The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation provides direct funding, to families of children up to the age of five who suffer severe intellectual and physical developmental delay, enabling them to purchase home respite care. We also provide end of life care to all children up to the age of five.
These are children who as a result of their condition require intensive home nursing care. The Foundation gives these families THE GIFT OF TIME, time to do the things that we so often take for granted like shopping, taking their other children to the park, a night’s sleep etc.
