Once again Gerard returns to the West of Ireland, Dingle (An Daingean) to capture the wild beauty of the Irish coastal landscape. A week in the wind and sun has resulted in a new collection of oil paintings. The rugged landscape led itself to use of a vivid colour palette. Gerard was also happy to record his favourite spot in Dingle village, 'Out of the Blue' seafood restaurant in a charcoal. After all this is where his days would end, over a steamy plate of the sea delicacies and a nice bottle of wine in a company of local friends.
