Strawberry Hill House, nestled on the southerly slopes of Killiney Hill was a source of Gerard Byrne's multiple inspirations. As a local Dalkey artist for last couple of years, living and working in the neighborhood, he depicted this Italianate style villa in various seasons. Vico Road, being one of the most desirable roads on the south side of Dublin and the most spectacular sea view road on the east coast became one of Gerard's favourite locations for plein air painting.
Strawberry Hill House with it's unobstructed views across Killiney Bay from Dalkey Island to Bray Head encompassing the spectacular Wicklow Mountains came to the market.
